Self-Storage at U-Haul, 1500 S 1st St

About Self-Storage at U-Haul

This U-Haul spot on the near south side sits close to Walker's Point and the Harley-Davidson Museum, so it's easy to reach from downtown or the freeway. You get both indoor units and outdoor drive-up space, which matters if you're parking a rig you want to keep out of the weather or one you need to pull in and out without a lot of fuss. Reviewers are few but positive. One person stored belongings for four years while family was overseas and called the place safe and clean. Others mentioned good staff and that their things felt secure. The lot has cameras and 24/7 access, and there's a wash on site. Climate control is available for indoor units, and they also handle boat storage. It's a working U-Haul location with moving supplies and carts, so expect some truck traffic during the day. Month-to-month rentals and online payments keep it simple. If you want a spot that's straightforward and close to the city, this is worth a look.
