About SmartStop Self Storage
SmartStop Self Storage on the Apopka side handles outdoor parking for RVs and boats alongside its regular units. It's a self-storage facility first, so you're renting a spot in a lot, not a dedicated RV-only yard. Climate-controlled units and drive-up access are part of the setup, and you can rent and pay online. The reviews land at 4.5 stars over 315 Google ratings, and staff courtesy comes up constantly. People describe the front desk as polite and thorough, with clear explanations of the paperwork, and one reviewer called the new manager Jenn a gem. Others mention a quick setup and a fair rate. Not every review is warm. A few renters complain about rate increases with little notice, and one says they were billed for insurance after showing their own policy. Read the terms closely before you sign, especially if you're managing the unit from out of town.
