About SmartStop Self Storage
SmartStop Self Storage sits off GA-85 on Poplar Springs Rd in Riverdale, near Highway 138. It's a self-storage spot that also lists RV, boat and automobile storage among its categories, so you can park a rig there, not just household goods. The place is gated with keypad entry, 24/7 video monitoring and individual unit alarms. Climate-controlled units help with Georgia heat and humidity. Ground-level drive-up access and wide aisles make it easier to maneuver a truck or trailer. Reviewers often mention Stephanie and Rhonda by name for being helpful and patient. One person said the manager handed out cold water and hand carts during a hot move. Another called the property organized and clean. The 4.8 rating across 61 reviews backs that up. One review does report a serious problem: a vehicle parked there had its tags, catalytic converter and battery stolen. That's worth weighing if you're leaving a rig for a while. Hours are posted, though the facility isn't open 24/7 for office visits. Call ahead for unit sizes and current rates.
