About SoCal Self Storage
SoCal Self Storage on the Torrance side of the South Bay has been renting units since 1995, and the parking area handles boats, cars and RVs, including the Airstream or vintage hot rod you don't want sitting on the street. The place is clean and easy to get in and out of, with ample parking and hand-trucks on hand for loading. Reviewers tend to bring up the staff. Several call them friendly and helpful, and one mentions a manager by name who was professional and quick to sort things out. People also note the individually alarmed units and say they felt at ease leaving their stuff there. The free move-in truck comes up often too, and one customer who only rented the truck was out in under five minutes. The complaints are worth knowing. A few renters say moving out got expensive, with truck fees changing and no pro-rating for partial months, so read the contract before you sign. Others felt the front desk was more sales than service.
