SpareBox Storage

About SpareBox Storage

SpareBox Storage sits on Wellborn in College Station and runs as a self-storage facility with RV, boat and cold storage listed among its categories. Rentals can be done online or at an on-site kiosk, autopay is available, and the facility keeps extended access hours rather than staying open around the clock. Climate control is one of the features they promote, along with an on-site team for account questions and support. The 4.6 rating across 230 Google reviews comes with mixed feedback. Several reviewers call out staff by name and describe them as kind, patient and helpful during moves and move-outs. The online and phone side gets similar credit: one customer mentions cancelling autopay over the phone and having the process explained clearly. Others note the facility is easy to get in and out of and the units are clean. Not everyone is happy. A handful of reviewers complain about fees and say rates went up more than once during a lease, and one mentions asking about climate control and later finding the unit was not climate controlled. The property identifies as veteran-owned and women-owned, and the entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
