About Storage Masters - St. Charles
Storage Masters is a family owned, second generation operation with six locations, and the St. Charles spot sits on the self-storage side of things. The property is gated with individually coded keypad entry, and cameras run around the clock. Driveways are lit and the concrete floors are raised, which the owner says helps with visibility. Staff get plenty of praise in reviews, with several people naming specific employees who were patient and quick to return calls. The free move-in truck and clean office come up too. Not every review is warm. A handful of renters say the units hold moisture and mold has shown up on their belongings. Others complain about fees and specials they say weren't honored, and one person had a gate code stop working without notice. Recent reviewers also note that 24/7 access is no longer offered, which matters if you work odd hours. Ask about access hours, climate control, and any charges before you sign.
