About Storage Star
Storage Star sits on Kings Acres Road just off US-1 in Ashland, an easy pull for rigs coming through Glen Allen, Ashcake and the surrounding communities. Vehicle storage comes in two flavors: covered and outdoor, and the lot takes cars, trucks and trailers alongside RVs. The gate is electronic and cameras watch the property. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Eric gets named more than once for picking up the phone fast, walking people through setup and suggesting options they hadn't considered. Others mention how quick the digital onboarding was, with unit access the same day. A few note the drive-up layout makes loading and unloading less of a workout. It isn't all smooth. One reviewer found mold in their unit after less than a year and says they weren't warned. Another was quoted a size, got two smaller units instead, and has seen the rate climb more than once. Signage inside the buildings has confused at least one customer hunting for their unit number. Worth reading the full reviews before you commit.
