About Vargo's Buffalo Style Pizza
Vargo's is a pizza restaurant and sub shop right on the Steinhatchee River, and it also has RV spots with full hookups plus boat and trailer storage. So you can park your rig, grab a table outside, and watch the water. Reviewers keep coming back for the pizza and wings. The white pizza and meatball subs get called out, and one regular drives from Branford just for the pie. The river view is a big part of the draw. Service has been slow for some, with long waits and mixed reports on the younger staff, though the owner has apologized and is clearly trying. After Hurricane Helene they lost the big deck, but they're back at it. The menu covers pizza, subs, wings, and salads. It's veteran-owned and wheelchair accessible. If you need a spot for the night and a slice, this is a straightforward option.
