About Whitehouse Self Storage
Whitehouse Self Storage is a locally owned spot in Plainfield that's been around since 1982. They offer both indoor and outdoor storage, including a 28-foot outdoor space that works for RVs and campers. The lot is gated with cameras and lit, and you get 24/7 access. Reviewers are split. Some praise the owner as a kind, helpful local guy who called about a low tire on a camper so a trip wouldn't start badly. Others describe a mess with unit numbers and locks, including one case where a sheriff got involved and items turned up in a shed. Friendly staff and the owner come up often, but so do the disputes. If you're considering it, read the reviews closely and make sure the unit number and lock details are straight before you sign. The basics are there: indoor and outdoor options, gated access, and a long history in the area.
