About Winston Self Storage
Winston Self Storage sits on Wabash Blvd in Winston-Salem, and it handles more than the usual household clutter. Indoor units, including climate-controlled ones, plus boat and RV storage are all on the menu. Ground-level drive-up access makes getting a rig or a truckload in and out a lot less painful. Reviewers tend to mention the sign-up. One said they pulled up to the gate, made an account on the spot, picked a unit size and paid, all in under five minutes. Others call the staff friendly and helpful on the phone, and the rates fair. The place is lit and key-code controlled, and people describe it as clean and dry. A few complaints are worth knowing. Some renters saw their rate go up within months of moving in, and more than one said a sign-up special did not match what they were told at the office. Ask what the current pricing actually is before you commit. The site was also under expansion in fall 2024, which made maneuvering tight for a while.

“Quick, Easy, and affordable! Customer service was outstanding. Only complaint would be that the website I originally signed up for said first month rent and a free truck rental. They do not have a truck.” – Heather S., 5 years ago, on Google
“I have used my storage unit daily pretty much since I've gotten it and I really like the autonomy.” – Radred10thgen, 2 months ago, on Google
