About Lake Michigan Self Storage
On the edge of Whitehall, this gated facility runs a mix of covered units and an outdoor lot for RVs, boats and cars. Cameras sit on the corners of each building, and renters get 24/7 access. You can pick a space and reserve it through the online portal before you drive over. Reviews split. Several renters call it clean and well maintained, and one noted a newer property with cameras everywhere and staff who responded fast when a wind storm knocked out power. Others praise the office for answering questions and the website for letting them handle everything online. One long-term renter had a rough experience with mice getting into stored belongings, so inspect your unit before signing. Ground-level units make loading simple. A local school group has also spoken well of the owners. If you have questions after booking, the office is the place to start.
