About Mt. Pleasant Storage
Mt. Pleasant Storage runs four locations close to the CMU campus, with 1,500 units total. They offer standard self-storage, climate-controlled storage, and RV and boat storage, including covered spots and outside trailer/RV/boat parking. Reviews are mixed. Some people say the facility is clean and access is easy. Others mention problems with mice in units, billing and refund issues, and phone calls that go to a full voicemail. One reviewer had a rough start with the owner but got an apology and a refund. The company also rents to students, and several reviews bring up summer storage. If you're parking a rig, ask about covered versus outside spots when you call or stop by.

“Rough start with the owner but when it was all said and done he apologized and refunded me the month of November. I had moved out on the 31st and communicated to him prior.” – Amy H., 5 years ago, on Google
“Using Mt. Pleasant Storage this summer was a great experience. The unit we rented was very clean, the door worked properly (which had been an issue at other storage facilities in the past) and the facility was always clean and secure.” – John M., 5 years ago, on Google
“This is a great place, clean and well run. Most convenient and best value option for CMU students that have storage needs over breaks. Lots of different options and sizes. We only needed a smaller one.” – Ken S., 3 years ago, on Google
