About Rufe Snow Depot Self Storage
Rufe Snow Depot Self Storage is a locally owned facility on Rufe Snow Drive in Watauga, Texas. It runs on ground access with a large two-gate drive-thru setup, so you can pull straight in with an RV or boat rather than threading through tight indoor aisles. The office manages the property and also handles Penske truck rentals. Reviews are mixed. Many people mention friendly staff and easy access, and a few say the units were clean and the property felt safe. Others describe rude or unhelpful service at the front counter. The place also runs a full USPS counter, which draws its own crowd and its own complaints. Online reservations are available outside office hours, and the owner advertises no surprise pricing. Stop by or browse online to see if it fits your rig.

“Rented a box truck. Originally started rental process with Home Depot. Had me pick up truck with Rufe Snow Depot, a storage facility. RSD called b/c HD let me schedule a 4:30 pick up even though they close before then.” – Tonia, a year ago, on Google
“Excellent Service. Not sure about the previous reviews, but the gentleman that helped me was very nice, courteous and helpful. It is a self storage place, pretty nice one, that offers full Postal Services.” – Joe V., 12 years ago, on Google
“I drop off prepaid packages sometimes on Saturday mornings when the Watauga post office is closed. The gentleman is always polite and lets me leave my packages on the counter even if he is helping another customer.” – Amir S., 8 years ago, on Google
