About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This U-Haul spot on the Hickory side of things handles self-storage and vehicle parking in one place. Indoor and outdoor options are both on the table, and climate-controlled units are available if you want your rig out of the weather. Security cameras and 24/7 access are part of the setup, and there's a wash on site. You can rent month to month, pay online, and grab packing supplies or carts while you're there. Drive-up outdoor space and vehicle storage round out the choices. Reviews are a mixed bag, so read them before you commit. Several people call out individual staff by name and describe them as patient, informative, and easy to work with. At least one reviewer had a rough experience at closing time and wouldn't recommend the store. The location sits near Downtown Hickory and Main Avenue SE, just off US Highway 70.
