About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul on the Port Townsend side, close to Fort Worden State Park, downtown, and Jefferson County International Airport. It handles self storage and vehicle parking, with both indoor units and outdoor drive-up spots for rigs and boats. The place has cameras and 24/7 access, plus climate control on the indoor side, so you can get to your stuff on your own schedule. Drive-up outdoor spots make backing a trailer or hauling gear in and out easier. They also sell packing and moving supplies and keep dollies and carts around. The Google rating sits at 5.0, though that comes from just a few reviews. One person said the staff was always helpful and friendly and that they never worried about break-ins while storing there. They also mentioned dropping to a smaller unit partway through and moving out without trouble. The only gripe was prices feeling steep, which they chalked up to everything costing more these days.
