About SmartStop Self Storage
SmartStop Self Storage on Airport Road in Colorado Springs handles outdoor parking for RVs and boats behind an electronic gate. Drive-up access and wide aisles mean you can pull a rig in without a lot of back-and-forth. Rent online if you want to set it up before you show up. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. People call them friendly and caring, and more than one mentions being helped through questions or problems without a runaround. Clean units and clean grounds come up too, and folks mention a military discount and pricing that's easy to understand. There are some gripes worth knowing. One reviewer says extra fees showed up during online signup that couldn't be opted out of, and the gate code had to be picked up in person during what turned out to be closed hours. Another says snow and ice don't get scraped, and north-facing units stay slick. The lot is wheelchair accessible. Call ahead about gate codes before you haul over.
