About Southern Self Storage
Southern Self Storage sits in Northport and runs climate controlled units along with boat and RV storage. Reviewers keep coming back to the climate control in particular. One said other places they rented sat around 78 to 80 degrees, but this one stays at a comfortable temp. The facility also has a lit, gated setup with a security code for the premises. Cleanliness comes up again and again in reviews, and several people call the site well kept. One reviewer noted the ground is elevated, so flooding and water damage were not a worry during a year-long stay. Staff and ownership get steady praise too. People describe the owner as quick to return calls and easy to reach, and one renter mentioned getting help with spacing and pricing on short notice. It is locally owned, which a few reviewers point out. Routine checks on the property came up as a plus. Rates and unit sizes are not listed here, so call to ask.
