About Banner Elk Self Storage & Shipping
Banner Elk Self Storage & Shipping sits in the North Carolina mountains and has served the greater Banner Elk community for over 30 years. The place runs drive-up and climate-controlled units, and the climate-controlled ones get heat, AC, and humidity control. There is also a retail office space with ample parking, and the office handles packing and moving supplies plus licensed FedEx shipping, so a drop-off can double as a storage run. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff, and Haley gets named a lot. People describe her as friendly and quick to help, whether she is walking someone through unit sizes or getting a rental done fast. The renting process earns frequent mention, along with the climate-controlled units and the clean space. Reviewers also note the security system on site. Since January 2019 the facility has had upgrades, including a security system and the true climate-controlled units. Online payments are available. It is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible entrance and parking lot.
