About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on the self-storage side of North Charleston handles more than just household goods. Reviewers mention keeping campers and boats on the lot, and a climate controlled unit comes up more than once. The office has a clean, welcoming feel, and staff like Shawn get named for walking people through unit sizing and online rental steps. The place earns a 4.9 from nearly 300 Google reviews. People write about quick responses to questions, honest dealings, and easy access to their units. One reviewer appreciated the fast answer about motorhome storage and called the manager and assistant cordial and informative. Not every review is warm. One renter warns about rate increases on a 10x20 unit over time, and another describes a rough exchange over parking. Worth reading the full reviews before you sign. Hours are posted but the gate is not open 24/7.
