About 1st Choice Storage - Evansville
A self-storage spot on the Evansville side of things, with easy access to the Lloyd Expressway if you are coming from Newburgh, Darmstadt or Chandler. RV, boat and vehicle storage sit alongside standard and climate-controlled units. The grounds are gated with keypad entry, DVR-monitored cameras and lighting across the property. Reviewers tend to bring up the property manager by name. One calls him helpful and kind, and says the place stays clean and well maintained. Others mention how fast signing up went, one person said about six minutes on the phone, and a few like being able to pay by phone. A mobile app lets you open the gate, pay, rent a unit and send issue reports with photos straight to management. Not every review is glowing. One renter reported a burglary in their unit, though they praised the caretaker for quick updates and management for fast guidance on filing an insurance claim. Another complained about pests in a unit after two weeks. Worth reading the full reviews before you commit.
