About Better Self Storage
Better Self Storage sits in Santa Ana and rents self-storage units plus covered parking for RVs and boats. Reviewers keep coming back for one reason: the price. Several say it runs well under the other spots nearby, and one mentions a rental special that cut the cost further. It isn't fancy. Reviews describe wooden doors with exposed hinges, and one person says the area around it is rough. Another reviewer liked the insurance coverage and said the staff were patient and the signup was quick. More than one notes you need cash to pay, and a couple of people got surprised by upfront fees after seeing a low monthly rate online. Other reviews are harsher, including a complaint about rats ruining stored belongings. Go in with eyes open and look at the unit before you sign. Service options include online payments and a move-in truck.

“it's pretty clean good customer service but it'd be nice if the owner would give a thought before raising the rent just to benefit himself and it does need new doors” – Okinawa F., 5 years ago, on Google
