About Cañon Marine Self Storage
Cañon Marine Self Storage runs two yards in Penrose, at 1554 16th St and 404 9th St. They take boats, RVs and smaller household goods, and covered storage comes up in what they advertise. It is a working yard, not a showplace, so plan on calling ahead about hours and which site has room for your rig. The reviews split. Some customers have stayed for years and praise the staff, saying the yard is easy to get into and clean and that questions get answered by phone. One boater bought a pontoon through the business and had it delivered a few hours north. Others describe a different experience. Two reviewers say their stored belongings came out covered in dust and mouse droppings, with one mentioning insects as well. Another mentions a billing dispute. If you are storing upholstery, bedding or anything a rodent can ruin, ask how the units are kept before you sign.
