About Chittyville Mini Warehouses
Chittyville Mini Warehouses is a self-storage spot in Herrin that also takes RVs. The lot is gated and lit, and renters need a code to get through the gate. Units come up clean and easy to reach in reviews, and one person called the space huge. The catch is getting a human on the phone. Several reviewers said calls go unanswered, emails go quiet, and messages through the website don't come back. One person recommended renting online for that reason. Others had trouble sorting out declined automatic payments that turned into late fees and a red lock on the unit. Security gets mixed notes. People like the gate code, but one reviewer saw someone break in and said to be careful with valuables. Another rated the spot for space higher than for security. Call ahead once you have the number, then handle the rest online.
