About Discount General RV & Premier Portable Buildings
Discount General RV & Premier Portable Buildings is a mom-and-pop operation in Dothan, Alabama, run by Rick and Ashlee. It's a smaller shop that also handles portable buildings, carports, and RV repair. The place gets mixed feedback. Reviewers often mention pricing, with several saying they felt treated fairly after shopping around. Others talk about the staff being kind and respectful. One couple praised Rick and Ashlee for going above and beyond on a trailer axle warranty claim, and a traveler stuck with blown tires said the owner offered a spare and didn't kick a man when he was down. But not everyone had it easy: one buyer warned to check everything works before signing, saying they went months without a fridge and got excuse after excuse. Stop by if you want a smaller, veteran-owned business where you can talk to the owners directly.

“Incredible people with impeccable customer service. I find that the majority of the time, small dealerships like this are few and far between. My family and I purchased our first RV back in November of 2021 here.” – Dennis K., 4 years ago, on Google
“Fantastic experience. We looked all over for the right 5th Wheel RV. Others gave up on us or treated us like the novice we were.” – Rob H., 9 years ago, on Google
“I have now had my R.V. Trailor pushing two weeks. I brought it to the park. Set it up. And I had some repair issues. That I thought should have been repaired by Discount R.V. Well I was wrong. I bought it as is. I have never owned an R.V.” – Greg H., Edited 6 years ago, on Google
