About Extra Space Storage
The Extra Space Storage facility on Spring St in Herndon handles self storage and vehicle storage, with drive-up access and climate control among the options. It sits near Spring St and Herndon Pkwy, close to Hattontown and Floris. Hours are posted; it is not open around the clock. Roughly 1,335 Google reviews average 5.0. The name that comes up most often is Cindy, praised at the front desk for tracking down a unit when another location ran short. Mark gets called out for doing paperwork first and taking his lunch after. Staff get described as kind and helpful, and several reviewers mention a quick, smooth process for finding the right space. The property and storage rooms are clean, and people mention the facility being secure and well lit. Not every review is glowing. One long-term tenant complains about rate increases that nearly doubled the monthly rent, and about having to switch units because of them. Reserve online, call, or stop by. Reviewers recommend booking here over more expensive spots they considered.
