About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on the Hickory side runs both indoor and outdoor storage, and reviews keep coming back to how clean the place is. One reviewer called the facility clean and well maintained with good security and easy access. Others mention indoor units with climate control. Staff get named a lot. Leslie walked a customer through unit sizes and back to test keys after they reserved two units. Keely was described as patient and kind during a sudden move. Brandon and Mark come up as friendly and helpful. The property stays clean and well kept, per reviewers. Not every review is glowing. One customer who parked a truck starting in June 2025 saw the monthly rate double within a few months and said there was no clear notice. Worth reading the fine print on rate changes wherever you park. Online booking and reserving by phone are both options, and the site has a leasing desk, so you can stop by without an appointment. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
