About Extra Space Storage
This Extra Space location sits at 3350 Laurel Fort Meade Rd, near the Baltimore-Washington Pkwy, so it draws renters from Maryland City, South Laurel, and Bowie. It's a self-storage facility that also lists car and boat storage among its categories, alongside climate control and drive-up access. The reviews lean heavily on the staff. Kind, patient, knowledgeable are the words that keep showing up, with Rachel and Vee called out by name for walking people through options and payment plans. Reviewers also mention military-friendly service and a clean, organized facility. The 4.9 rating across 1,142 reviews backs that up. Not every review is glowing. One renter described a unit flooding twice and frustration with the insurance claim process. Worth knowing before you sign. Hours are posted but the gates aren't open around the clock, and online reservations are an option.
