About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on 29th Ave in Oakland handles self storage, and the listing also covers auto and boat storage. Reviews land at 4.8 across more than a thousand ratings, and the word that comes up most is clean. Staff get plenty of credit too, with people describing quick sign-ups and employees who take time to walk through pricing instead of rushing you out the door. Not every review is a rave. Some renters say units along the railroad tracks have had break-ins, and one reviewer reported rodents and a frustrating back-and-forth over the problem. Others mention a tighter access schedule that has caused friction for contractors picking up tools. Worth reading the recent reviews yourself before you commit to a specific unit. Small, medium, and large units are available, and the office has posted hours rather than round-the-clock access. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible. If you want specifics on a unit, ask the team directly.
