Extra Space Storage, 1060 NM-528

About Extra Space Storage

This Extra Space sits on 528 in Rio Rancho, and drivers passing through seem to find it without trouble. It's a self-storage facility, but the categories also list automobile and boat storage, so there's room for rigs beyond the standard household clutter. Reviewers bring up the climate controlled units again and again, and plenty of them call the place clean and secure. One touring musician mentioned camper storage and said the climate control was a nice feature. A prior military renter who has stored units all over the country called it one of the best. Several people set up their rental online or over the phone and said the process went smoothly, including getting the app downloaded beforehand. The staff gets a lot of the credit. Reviewers single out an employee they call Green Chili Stu, describing him as knowledgeable and willing to walk people through the building instead of pushing a sale. With a 4.9 rating across 828 reviews, the pattern holds. One small gripe in the reviews: there's only one roll cart on the north side, so you may wait your turn on a busy moving day.
