About Extra Space Storage
This Extra Space Storage on US Highway 301 S in Riverview offers outdoor parking for RVs and boats, along with regular self-storage units. The lot is gated and has cameras, though one reviewer noted the cameras only face the entrance. It's easy to find on the highway, which helps when you're hauling a rig. Reviews are mixed. Several people praise the staff, naming Angel and Chris Golden for being patient and helpful. Others report problems: a gate code that didn't work on a Sunday, a break-in, and a boat motor stolen from a stored boat. One reviewer also complained about rising rates and poor grounds maintenance, with tall grass and ant hills. If you're considering it, stop by and see the lot for yourself. Ask about security coverage and read the rental agreement carefully. The office has hours, so call ahead or drop in to talk with the team.
