About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Bee Ridge Road is a self-storage facility in Sarasota that also lists automobile and boat storage among its categories, with outdoor parking spaces mentioned. The site is gated and lit, and the company says vehicles are allowed in drive-up units. Climate-controlled units are available too. It's wheelchair accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly. With 674 Google reviews and a 4.8 rating, the staff gets a lot of credit. Reviewers repeatedly call them helpful and accommodating, and one names Jenny for keeping the place clean and organized. Another mentions Phil worked with them when a promotional rate was ending. People also note the cleanliness and easy switch process. Not every review is glowing. Some complain about rates rising over time, and one warns of a rat problem and damage claims. The on-site team is easy to reach compared with other chains, according to one reviewer.
