About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage runs a self-storage site on Mariner Drive in Southampton, and it has an outdoor option if you need a spot for a rig. The place is gated with electronic entry, and access runs around the clock. Some units are climate controlled and some are not. Reviews land at 4.8 from 54 people. The staff comes up most, with names like Nicole, Natasha and Maxine getting credit for being friendly and calling people back. Reviewers also call the facility clean and easy to get in and out of, and one long-time renter moved all their storage here from New York partly because of the parking and 24-hour access. Not every review is warm. One tenant complained about mold and a broken water pipe, another about a break-in and not being told, and more than one mentioned rent climbing over the years. Worth reading the whole set before you commit. Hours vary, so check the office schedule before you drive over.
