About Jerry's Repair Inc
Jerry's Repair is a tire and auto repair shop in Detroit Lakes. Jason Behlmer bought the business from his father in 2024 and kept the name. Reviews call the staff friendly and efficient. One customer said the shop got them in for repairs right away, and another noted reasonable prices for the work. The crew handles tires, DOT inspections, automotive and heavy truck repair, and boat storage. Reviewers mention trailer and boat help. One driver had a boat trailer fixed after hours and said they would recommend the shop. Another had a battery cable issue fixed on a Saturday morning. The shop has been around since 1979, and the current owner has over 30 years in the industry. Some reviews are mixed. One customer got a DOT inspection and was surprised by a much higher bill than quoted. Another called for a tire quote and felt the person on the phone was annoyed. Most of the feedback is positive, but it helps to ask about the final cost before work starts.
