Lake Michigan Self Storage

About Lake Michigan Self Storage

Lake Michigan Self Storage sits in Montague and rents ground-level units with roll-up doors, plus space for vehicles and other expensive things you'd rather keep indoors. Access is available around the clock, and the rental process is meant to be quick. The facility describes its units as clean and affordable and says it serves both households and businesses in the area. Reviews are mixed, and the pest complaints are worth knowing before you sign. One renter found live cockroaches in a unit within minutes of opening it. Another, who stayed for years, praised the clean grounds, lighting, easy access and no break-ins, but lost a mattress, chair and blankets to mice. Others had trouble reaching anyone through the automated phone system and had to leave voicemail. Some renters had better luck with people than with the phone tree. One said the owner helped load and unload a trailer full of heavy items. Another called the website easy to use and the customer service lovely whenever questions came up. Ask about pest control and the best way to reach staff before you commit.
