About Mabey's Self Storage - Latham
Mabey's runs a storage operation out of Latham, part of a Capital Region company with a long history in moving and storage. The site handles self-storage, boat storage, record storage, and RV parking, with climate-controlled units and 24-hour access listed among the features. Reviews land at 4.6 stars across 14 ratings, and the staff names come up again and again. Melissa gets singled out for being friendly, patient, and quick to sort out reservations, including a last-minute upsizing. Victoria gets a mention too. One reviewer called the place clean, secure, and easy to get into. Two things worth knowing before you commit. Renters report the rate holds steady for 12 months with no surprise increases, which is not universal in this business. Another reviewer said the advertised 24-hour access costs extra and only kicks in after 9pm, so ask about that upfront if you need to get to your rig at odd hours. The facility has a restroom and a water fountain on site.
