About Neighborhood Self-Storage

Neighborhood Self-Storage sits on Route 209 in Port Jervis, a spot locals pass on the way out of town. It offers drive-up and interior first-floor units, plus climate-controlled spaces and parking for RVs, boats, and cars. Access is gated, and cameras watch the property. Reviewers often call the place clean and secure. Several mention the staff by name, saying they were helpful and compassionate during tough moves. One long-term renter stayed about three years and felt safe leaving property on site. Others note the rental process was easy and the team followed up after they vacated a unit. Not every review is positive. One reviewer described a billing dispute that led to denied access for a family member, and another mentioned a lock placed on their unit without their preference. The facility is remotely managed, so most contact happens online or by phone. Month-to-month leases and contactless rentals are available.

“So far this is my very first time ever renting a storage unit. I am renting a 10 by 10, I finally had time to look at my text messages. Neighbor Self-Storage text me and they placed a lock on my unit for me.” – Laura C., 3 months ago, on Google
“My family moved to new homes out of Long Island and needed storage for the in-between permanent residencies. We needed roughly 12x12 and found it at a good price at Neighborhood storage.” – Thomas K., 10 months ago, on Google
“I highly recommend this facility. Not only is it clean and secure, but the management is truly empathetic to the needs of their customers and provides a welcoming environment. The team here is incredibly compassionate and understanding.” – Terri B., 3 months ago, on Google
