About Public Storage
Public Storage on your side of Alexandria runs a self-storage facility that also handles RVs, boats and cars. It's open 24/7, and the reviews give it 4.7 stars from 343 people. Staff like Dre and Christopher come up often for being patient and knowing the units, and several reviewers mention the renting process went smoothly. Units are inside and climate controlled, with elevator access and rollup doors. Sizes run from 5x10 up to 10x20, so there's room for smaller trailers up to bigger rigs. Some units sit near the door or elevator, which helps when you're hauling gear. Packing supplies are on site, and a few reviewers picked them up during their move. Not everything is glowing. One reviewer wished the buildings were marked better, since unit numbers don't tell you which building to head to. Others flagged rent increases and a billing issue at move-out. The location gets good marks for feeling safe, and the team gets credit for fixing problems when they come up.

“I should probably have given this 3.5 stars. While the facility is fairly clean, there are a few areas for improvement. 1. There need to be clear directions to access one's storage unit.” – Swaroop R., a year ago, on Google
“The staff member Dre was friendly and professional. I had several questions and wanted to view a few units. He was patient and knowledgeable about the units and pricing and answered all of my questions.” – Margo S., 11 months ago, on Google
“I wanted to give a shout-out to Christopher, who was extremely helpful to me. I was a Public Storage customer in CA and live in Alexandria. I needed help with an issue with my unit in CA and he was professional and so kind. Thank you!” – Colleen M., a year ago, on Google
