About Public Storage
Public Storage on Flakes Mill Road in Decatur handles RVs, boats, cars, and regular household stuff. Units come covered, indoor, or outdoor, and the place is gated with cameras and lighting. Drive-up access makes it easy to pull in and unload. Reviewers often mention the staff. Several call out Devin and Janyra by name for being knowledgeable and helpful. The facility gets praise for being clean and well-lit, and people say the layout and security system impressed them. But not every review is positive. A few recent ones complain about rats, gate problems, and slow office response. It's a big, established chain with an online rental option and a self-storage app. If you want to skip the counter, you can reserve and move in without talking to anyone. Just read the recent reviews before you commit, especially if pests or access issues would be a dealbreaker.
