About Public Storage
Public Storage on the Richmond side runs a self-storage facility that also takes RVs, boats and cars, with covered, indoor and outdoor spots. The gate is electronic and keypad controlled, the lot is lit, and cameras are on site. Access is 24/7, so you can pull in after dark or before work. Reviews land at 4.7 stars across 394 ratings, and the staff gets most of the praise. Reviewers call out Angelina and Alex by name for being kind and patient and for walking them through the rental. Easy online rental and clean units come up too. The complaints are worth knowing: some renters mention carts being hard to find and elevators breaking down, and one long-term customer left over a rate jump. You can reserve online, and the eRental option lets you skip the counter. The company says it has been at this nearly 50 years. Boat and business storage are listed alongside the RV spots.
