About Public Storage
Public Storage on Greenwell Rd in Virginia Beach handles more than just household overflow. There is outdoor uncovered parking with drive-up access for rigs and vehicles, plus enclosed 10x20 units with rollup doors if you want your car or RV under a roof. Some inside units are climate controlled. The lot is open 24/7, and the office gets steady praise. Reviewers keep mentioning Geo and Nes by name for being friendly and quick to sort out problems, and one person said the setup was fast and smooth. Another stored a car for 11 months and reported no bugs, rodents or water, though they noted the units ventilate naturally, so a cover helped. Staff are described as accommodating, and several people mentioned thorough explanations at move-in. Not every review is glowing. One customer described damage and cleanup problems after a ceiling collapse in their unit. Worth reading the full reviews before you commit. Reserving online is free with no commitment, and the eRental option lets you skip the counter.

“Stored a car here for 11 months, no serious issues. Needed to get a car cover because of the way air flows in the units (natural ventilation, not forced). Other than that, zero issue with bugs, rodents, or water.” – Mikal P., Edited 10 months ago, on Google
“The property manager, Geo, is so friendly & helpful. She went the extra mile to make sure my unit was reserved and explained everything thoroughly.” – Megan L., 2 years ago, on Google
“Geo was a fantastic public storage employee to work with. She is very kind, professional, and her smile lit up the room! Thank you to Geo for helping us cancel the unit that we did not need.” – Katelin T., 2 years ago, on Google
