About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation RV & Boat Storage sits at 3151 Old Metro Pkwy in Fort Myers, at the corner of Old Metro Parkway and Metro Parkway. It stores RVs, boats, trailers, campers, and motorhomes in covered and enclosed units. The facility is family-owned, fenced, and open to tenants around the clock. Reviews are mixed. Several people mention helpful staff and an easy rental process. One owner of a 40-foot RV said signing up was simple but advised reading the rental contract closely, since the company offers extra insurance. Another praised the wide drive aisles for maneuvering a boat. Some reviewers describe security problems, including a gate left open for two days and a motorcycle taken from a unit without authorization, and they say management was slow to respond. The property is near the Fort Myers River District, Edison and Ford Winter Estates, and Florida Gulf Coast University. Ask about access, cameras, and electric hookups, and check your contract before you sign.
