About RecNation RV & Boat Storage

RecNation runs an RV and boat storage lot on Garrett Rd, off Beltway 8 near Hwy 90 and Sheldon Rd. Covered, indoor and outdoor spots are available, and the gate uses 24/7 access. It sits a short hop from Lake Houston, Sheldon Lake State Park and IAH, so it draws owners from Humble, Atascocita and Crosby. The reviews are mixed and worth reading before you commit. Several people praise the staff as friendly. Others describe rough roads full of potholes and dirt spots that turn to mud after rain. Some say the gates are often left open, and a few mention thefts and break-ins. Reviewers also warn the unit you see at signing may not match what you were told, and that late fees and locks get added fast. The recurring advice from reviewers is simple: walk your unit before you sign anything. Ask about locks, power and the surface you'll park on. The lot lists gated access, cameras and an onsite staff.

“I am pleased to say I was the very first to put my RV in a covered area here and the owner and all of the employees at this location have been super. I've been there 5 to 6 years and it's the best, it's like family.” – Jerry H., Edited a year ago, on Google
