About RecNation RV & Boat Storage
RecNation RV & Boat Storage sits just off US 75 in Melissa, which makes it an easy stop for anyone heading north out of the Dallas area. The lot is gated and has 24-hour access, so you can get to your rig when you need to. Reviewers often mention the staff, especially Holley and Karen, for being helpful and kind. Several people point to the on-site dump station as a real plus. The covered spots are large, and renters say the facility stays clean and feels secure. One long-time customer keeps a fully enclosed space and appreciates the easy access from the highway. Not every review is positive. One person had damage from a windstorm and felt left to handle repairs alone. Others have noted that the electric gate has had issues and that rates have gone up over time. If you want a spot with covered or indoor options and a dump station, it's worth a look.

“I have been at the Melissa location since before RecNation bought the facility. Have always loved it. Clean, Large spaces, dump station. Only 1 mile from my house!!” – Chris H., Edited a year ago, on Google
“Clean and secure facility. We have a totally enclosed space. Been a renter since 2015. We recently won tickets to see the Dallas Stars. I could not make the game so my wife and her best friend and twin 14 year old boys attended.” – C R., Edited 3 years ago, on Google
“Updated to add: This place is very well taken care of and feels secure. We bought a brand new RV, and we didn't want to just park it out in the open. We still have that "new RV smell" thanks to enclosed parking at RecNation.” – Bethany R., Edited 2 years ago, on Google
