About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul on the Chapel Hill side of things, near Carrboro and the Fordham Boulevard corridor. It handles indoor and outdoor storage, and reviewers mention keeping vehicles here for years alongside regular units. Outdoor spots are drive-up, and there is climate control if you want it for what goes inside. Access is 24/7, the lot is lit, and cameras are part of the setup. Reviewers consistently bring up the staff, and six of the ten reviews touch on them by name. One person said a staff member greeted them outside on arrival, every time. Another called the manager the best they have had. The place reads as clean and well-lit in the reviews, and a long-term renter of about seven years recommended it. Month-to-month rentals, online payments, and moving supplies are part of the deal. If you are storing a rig and want a crew that actually answers when you walk in, this is the reputation they have built.
