About Self-Storage at U-Haul
U-Haul on Dixwell in Hamden runs a storage facility that handles RVs along with boats and regular self-storage. You can choose indoor or outdoor parking, and the outdoor spots are drive-up. The place has cameras and 24/7 access, so you're not locked into office hours. Reviewers keep mentioning the staff. One person said an employee walked them through unit sizes because they'd never rented before. Others called the service excellent and professional, and someone noted the facility was clean. Climate control is available for indoor units, which matters if you're storing more than just the rig. The listing also mentions month-to-month rentals and online payments. It's near Downtown Hamden, Whitneyville, and Spring Glen, so it's easy to get to from around town.
