About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul on Central Ave in Metairie, and it does more than rent trucks. RV, boat and car storage are listed among the options, with both indoor units and outdoor drive-up spots. Security cameras are on site and tenants get access around the clock. Climate control is available if you want it, and there is a wash on the property. Rentals run month to month, and you can handle payments and your account online. Packing supplies, dollies and carts are on hand if you are hauling things in or out. One reviewer had a rougher time with the cost side. They called it very expensive and said they were charged fees for throwing out trash from their unit, and after about two years they cleared it out instead of renewing. Worth asking about fees up front before you sign.

“It is good for what it is, but they are VERY EXPENSIVE. I was paying $185 each month and was not allowed to throw away ANY trash from my unit without incurring exorbitant fees.” – BJ T., 2 years ago, on Google
