About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul facility in New Bedford, near Rockdale Avenue and Route 18, close to downtown. It is a self-storage spot, not just a truck rental counter, and it handles indoor and outdoor storage plus vehicle and boat parking. Units come climate-controlled in a range of sizes, and there is drive-up access outdoors. The listing mentions 24/7 access, cameras, and a wash, so you can pull a rig in and rinse it off. Month-to-month rentals, online payments, and contact-free move-in are all part of the setup. Packing supplies, dollies, and carts are on hand if you are hauling things in yourself. The Google rating sits at 3.0 from a small number of reviews, so read them before you commit. One reviewer has rented trucks from Lorenzo for over 20 years. Another had a bad experience with access to a unit after a family death and would not recommend storing anything valuable there. Worth weighing both against what you are parking.
