About SmartStop Self Storage
SmartStop Self Storage sits in San Jose and serves the surrounding neighborhoods, from Alum Rock to Mayfair. The place has climate-controlled units and drive-up options, and access hours run past the standard workday. Reviewers consistently bring up the staff first, and that is saying something for a storage lot. People name Judah, Jonathan and Michael in their reviews. They describe them as respectful and patient, and more than one notes a manager calling back to fix a billing complaint. Someone dropped cash on the floor while paying a bill and got a call before they left the lot. Others mention a clean facility and an easy online rental process. Not every review is glowing. One long-time tenant knocked it down to two stars over a quick rent increase before management stepped in. If you have a rig to park, call ahead and ask about RV space, since most of these reviews are about standard units.
