About SpareBox Storage
SpareBox Storage sits in Richland, Michigan, on Gull Road, where a few reviewers mentioned spotting it while hunting for a unit. It is a self-storage facility that also lists auto, boat and RV storage. Rentals can be handled online, and entry codes and your designated spot can come by email and text. Reviewers often bring up the staff, describing them as pleasant and informative. One customer named Petrona for going out of her way on a drawn-out rental. Cleanliness and security come up too. The process is quick when the website cooperates: sign the agreement online, drive over, punch in your code, and the gate opens. Not every review is smooth. One renter said the website would not advance, and the office was closed when they showed up. Another said a space measured shorter than expected and got a larger one at extra cost. Rates have drawn complaints about going up. Showing proof of homeowners insurance can skip the added coverage charge.

“Facility is OK. They seem to jack up their rates about every 6 months. They claim it is largely due to improvements being made. I haven't seen any improvements except maybe to their bottom line.” – John D., Edited 3 years ago, on Google
“No brainer...sign your agreement online, great rates, very clean facility, entry code and designated spot sent to you by email and text. Drive to the location and enter your code and magically the gate rises and welcomes you.” – Mike W., 4 months ago, on Google
