About Sugar Barge RV Resort & Marina
Sugar Barge sits on the water in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, near Brentwood, Oakley and Discovery Bay. It works as an RV park, a marina and a place to keep a boat, and reviewers mention covered storage for boats in particular. People write about the docks, the launch area and clean bathrooms. One boater said launching is free and unlimited with a covered storage rental, though weekday hours run 8am to 4:30pm. Others praise the staff as helpful and professional, and a few call the rates reasonable. The rooftop deck gets steady mention for water views, outside seating, food and live music on summer Saturdays. Not everything is perfect: some say the spots are tight, and a couple of reviews mention closures and a power outage. The rating sits at 4.4 from 236 reviews. If you want a slip, a launch or a covered spot on the Delta, this is one to check.
